Originally from the Philippines, I moved to the U.S. when I was 16. Growing up with very little, owning my own business felt like a distant dream. But deep down, I was naturally drawn to art, so I initially went to college for art and music, until reality set in, and I realized how tough those industries were to sustain long-term.

After spending five years working as a cashier at Panera, I knew I needed a change. I wanted to build a better life while getting back to creating art. I decided to go back to school to become a nail technician, but when I couldn't afford to pay out-of-pocket, an advisor suggested enrolling in the Full Specialist program to qualify for financial aid. I took a leap of faith and it changed my life forever.

While nails weren't my forever path, that program led me to explore lash artistry. I applied at Deka Lash in Carrollwood, Tampa, and instantly fell in love. For the first time, I found a career where my passion for detailed hands-on art aligned perfectly with my ambition to succeed.
